Overview of Cameras and take pictures on FULL AUTO
[] Handout cameras
> Have a roster sheet to record who has which camera
> Show how to operate:
turn on
change the modes (see pic above)
change battery
insert/remove sd card
change lenses (check for cleanliness EVERY day)
make sure lenses are set to Auto Focus and VR if possible
change flash setting (flash button and dial)
to take a picture press the shutter button half way down, let it focus, then press the rest of the way to get the picture
review button to look at pictures they've taken on the camera and how to delete them right away
[] Go take pictures on FULL AUTO
>BE SURE TO HAVE A SUBJECT (something in the photo that catches our attention)
[] Be back to class with with 30 min left so we can download pics.
Show how to transfer files from SD card to their folders on the G Drive
How to use Adobe Bridge to look at their pictures
Pin Adobe Bridge and Adobe Photoshop to their Desktops and Task Bars
Turn in a
COPY
of your best photo to the Assignment Turn In folder > 2-Intro to SLR - Full Auto
